Concord Metal Detector Advantages
The Concord Metal Detector from Mega Detection is equipped with a wide range of advanced search tools designed to give prospectors the right solution for locating minerals, buried metals, and valuable treasures of all sizes and at various depths.
Versatile Concord Search Tools
Concord offers a collection of professionally designed search tools that use cutting-edge technology to deliver accurate and reliable detection results in all types of ground conditions.
Precision IMTU Target Detection
The IMTU probe is a highly advanced sensing unit that transmits high-frequency electromagnetic waves in the selected search direction.
When these waves encounter underground metal objects, they interact with their electromagnetic fields and return as reflected signals. These signals are then captured by the antennas, processed, and converted into precise digital data displayed on the screen, giving the user detailed information about hidden targets.
Concord Coils for Every Target
The Concord comes with three Pulse Induction search coils in different sizes, each optimized for specific detection tasks:
-
PS50 – Ideal for deeper and larger targets
-
PS36 – Balanced performance for medium-sized targets
-
PS28 – High sensitivity for small objects
These coils provide excellent performance for finding gold, jewelry, and ancient coins, allowing the user to adapt easily to different terrains and target types.
Five Concord Detection Systems
Concord integrates five professional search systems, including:
-
Three Long-Range Locating (L.R.L) systems
-
Two Pulse Induction systems, depending on the selected search coil
Each system offers customizable settings, along with visual graphics and digital indicators on the screen, giving users a rich and intuitive search experience and helping them accurately analyze detected targets.
Manual Long-Range System (MANUAL LRL)
The Manual LRL system is one of the most powerful search modes in the Concord Metal Detector from Mega Detection.
It uses the advanced I.M.T.U Probe, which transmits high-frequency electromagnetic waves in the direction selected by the user. When these waves encounter underground metal targets, they interact with the target’s electromagnetic field and return as reflected signals, which are captured by a pair of antennas and processed into accurate digital data.
In this system, the user can select the exact type of target to search for. Once selected, the device responds only to the chosen target type, ignoring all others. This allows for extremely precise long-range detection, with adjustable front scan distance up to 3,000 meters and maximum depth up to 50 meters.
Before starting the scan, the Manual LRL mode provides 11 pre-set target programs, allowing the user to quickly choose what kind of material they want to locate.
Because it is a manual system, the operator has full control over all important scanning parameters, enabling them to fine-tune the search according to ground conditions and personal detection strategy.
Custom Manual LRL Settings
1. Target Type (Metal)
You can select the type of metal to search for from a full list that includes:
Gold – Silver – Copper – Iron – Diamonds – Platinum – Bronze – and more.
2. Front Scan Range (Distance)
This defines how far the device scans in front of the user. It can be set from 0 to 3,000 meters using preset values:
250 – 500 – 750 – 1000 – 1250 – 1500 – 1750 – 2000 – 2250 – 2500 – 2750 – 3000 m.
3. Maximum Search Depth
This setting defines how deep the device will search for targets, adjustable from 0 up to 50 meters.
Real-Time Target Direction Display
After configuring the settings, the Concord begins scanning within the selected distance and depth range.
The screen shows a compass-style indicator that displays the device’s orientation (north, south, etc.), along with a semi-circular movement indicator that represents the direction of the antennas as they react to detected signals.
As the antennas move and respond to targets, the on-screen cursor shifts accordingly, guiding the user toward the signal source.
Stable Long-Range Detection Control
To ensure accurate readings, the system includes a tilt and gradient indicator on the right side of the screen:
-
Green = Correct and stable holding angle
-
Red = Incorrect angle that may affect accuracy
This feature helps the user maintain the correct device position for reliable long-range detection results.
